Flower Mound has an abundant 54 public parks and recreation facilities encompassing more than 980 acres, with their first dog park Hound Mound Dog Park which opened in 2016. The town is largely served by Lewisville Independent school district but is also located in Argyle Independent School District on the western side of town. DFW airport is just a mere 3 miles south of Flower Mound, with multiple major highways servicing the town making transportation unbeatable and resulting in multiple businesses including Best Buy and Stryker to call Flower Mound their home.
